Welcome

Engineers solve everyday problems to improve the lives of people through the practical application of science and mathematics. Engineers are creators and developers who imagine better ways of doing things and then design and build things to bring those ideas into reality.

Engineering is a very diverse discipline and the Armstrong Atlantic Engineering Studies Program provides students with a number of opportunities for pursuing engineering degrees. The principal goal of the Armstrong Atlantic Engineering Studies Program is to prepare students to pursue Georgia Tech engineering degrees, a degree that is one of the most respected in the United States.

Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering can be obtained without leaving Savannah through the GTREP and Engineering Alliance programs with Georgia Tech Savannah. Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Materials Science, Nuclear, and Polymer and Textile Engineering can be obtained through the RETP program.

At Armstrong Atlantic, professors teach all the classes and labs. Armstrong has small class sizes and small student to teacher ratios. Students in the Armstrong Atlantic Engineering Studies programs have many opportunities to participate in cooperative education, internships, professional societies, and undergraduate research projects with faculty. Students who have started at Armstrong Atlantic and transferred to Georgia Tech have produced an impressive record over the history of the program.
